Pretty good but.. your high St for being a monster isn't greatly benifitted against most things.

I do not know many T7 things out their.

True, will be good against Wraithlords though, oh and I had the points spare to nothing lost really :D
For now I shall be a proud and mentally impaired player who apparently shares the same intelligence level of that of a chimp. Now if you would excuse me I have pressing matters to attend to, I have found a stick and I am going to poke a banana.

Here's a quick bit about the Hive Tyrants Psychic abilities too:

Paradoxysm: auto hit 1 unit within 12", units WS & BS reduced to 1 til Tyranid next turn

Psychic Scream: All units within 2D6" take a LD test, units take 1 wound for each number LD test fails by, no armour saves allowed.

I think poison has to be used all the time, so it is a bit of a waste on a MC, as you'd normally be wounding on 2s

I asked one of my friends who knows more about nids than I do for advice on your list, and he suggested bumping your gaunt units up to 20. He also said as you can only use one psychic power per turn, maybe drop one of them on the tyrant.

Ok so I'll drop Toxin Sacs then, though he comes with a choice of 2 from 4 psychic powers for free. I'm also toying with the idea of giving him Wings to make him jump infantry.

It's not much of a biggie Scott I just mis-read a line in the options. Not sure whether to give the whole lot Bone swords now or the cheap Rending claw & Scythed Talons job.

Bone swords seems pretty useful, if you have the points. It'll slaughter marines and anything with a save.

Wings would let you get into close combat turn 2 probably, which would be pretty scary! He might end up getting singled out if he gets too far ahead of the rest, but I suspect he would be able to hold his own.
