Uncharted seas. THE FLEETS.

I've just printed off the rules for my boats and the fleet above comes in at a total of 820 points, not bad for 15 ships.
For now I shall be a proud and mentally impaired player who apparently shares the same intelligence level of that of a chimp. Now if you would excuse me I have pressing matters to attend to, I have found a stick and I am going to poke a banana.

Yeah it makes for an interesting challenge when you have to really work at a game to get the wins. Elves do seem a bit fragile, they need to get close to utalise the great short ranged firepower but each time I have done it I've fluffed my dice and allowed the enemy to destroy me with counterfire. The elven frigates and cruisers feel like there made of cardboard  The battleship is much better :)

I will stick at it for a while yet though. So whos up for a game next week?

Have you tried getting stuck in.. or not trying to avoid the fight from the start but use your speed in later turns to suddenly avoid those slower ships whislt still being able to shoot yourself.

Don't forget you also have a high CR.

I think the elves have to spend turn one getting as close as possible and then suck up a phase of shooting!!!!

Agreed. But when that close range shooting fails to dent your opponet then your in a world of hurt. To be fair I underestimated just how brutal that Assault cruisers of tobys is. Man it hurts, especially when he hits before my chaps in close combat

You may have faired better in our game had we got the dragon rules right

Will make it more challenging next time trying to decide whether to hold back AD for DF when a dragon is about, pity the examples didn't mention that
