WAB 2 - Learning Curve

Another cracking tournament - this time, Toy Soldier in Preston!

So what did I learn about WAB 2? Here are some of them....

Wide units are the future, with a min frontage of 7 figures. Most Units will have spears so 15 attacks (+1 from leader)

Cavalry are a must - if you can take them. As they aren't marched blocked by infantry, pushing a flank to turn a battle line will win games.

Momentum is brilliant as it gives you a bonus for not breaking an enemy unit and it allows you to re-roll panic tests! - I rolled Double 6 twice so didn't help me

If you are playing over 2k then the Rep' Romans should look to take the better cav along with the crappy must have unit. Rep Romans are lucky with the manipular formations and the ability to have lots of units. You'll just have to look after the flanks Scotty and grind down the centre.
