Blog-Chaos Dwarf Blood Bowl

The Mad Hatters first game started so well with an early 3 turn TD, but then Scotty's slippery elves went on a scoring spree! 3 TD in 6 turns. I can see how Scotty's thrower has managed to get 23 completions... During the first half I had most of the elves on the floor but couldn't get any better than 'stunned' and as Scott showed it only takes one runner and one thrower to do the damage!

The second half saw Scott scoring again. 4-1 wasn't looking healthy for me. So after some scampering around the pitch and a pass and run I managed to claw back a 2nd TD. The game ended 4-2 to Scotty, with 3 casualties caused on each side. I've got a player missing the next game with the other two recovering ready for the next match. I've got enough winnings along with the funds in my piggy bank to get a 6th Chaos Dwarf. A Hobo increased his movement by +1 which is handy.

I'll work out my new team rating later on when I've sorted out a proper team sheet.

Sounds like a humdinger of a game. How do you feel that the CDs did? Do you like them as a team? The Bull-centaur rock I think.

After using the Goblins last season, ANY team for this season would be better

The Chaos Stumpies are great as they are your front line guys, tough and all coming with block and tackle. Hobo's a cheap and being AG-3 cna do the plays when you gain some skills. The Centaurs are tricky, ST-4 is good but AG-2 means its risky trusting them to pick/catch the ball.

My AG 4 helped me out again, as usual my poor ladies got a good thump onto the floor but managed to squirm their way from harm

The Cent's aren't there for their ball-handling skills though! They would be great ball-carrier sackers I think, with Sprint and Sure Feet which effectively gives them 9 MV...

Would have liked to watch that game - 6 TDs and 6 cas!

Scott - your poor 'ladies'? Have you got an all-girl Dark Elf team? :P

My Chaos Stumpies have a rating of 107. I've bought in a 6th Stumpy to aid my front line as one will be missing for my next game.

No Scotty, my rating is 107. and my +1M is worth 30k! I didn't spend all my wonga originally. So 97 plus 3 for movement, plus 7 for chaos Dwarf.

But as I've got a player missing next game I think my rating is actually 100.

Your TR for the next game is 100, for league table its 107.
For now I shall be a proud and mentally impaired player who apparently shares the same intelligence level of that of a chimp. Now if you would excuse me I have pressing matters to attend to, I have found a stick and I am going to poke a banana.
